PVD Coating (Physical vapour deposition) was the Heimerle + Meule group’s key commitment for combining the manufacture of high-tech products with the utmost respect for the environment.

The advantages of this procedure are related to the availability of numerous substrates, layers and combinations of layers, with metals that cannot be separated by galvanizing. In addition, thanks to its low chemical and thermal load, plus its extraordinary adhesion, it is very environmentally friendly.

PVD also facilitates combination with other coating processes such as basic metallisation for galvanisation, which can generate uniform and even layers up to 5 µm thick. The PVD coating process has proved to be the ideal complement to the galvanising technologies used to date.
